TOP EVENTS HAPPENING DOWNTOWN THIS WEEKEND

FRIDAY, JULY 29

When it comes to live music, there’s no shortage of offerings Downtown. Start your Friday night at Broadway Nights with a live performance from rock and roll cover band, Robot Charlie. The concert is from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The featured food truck is Fat Boy Q and drinks will be served up by The Mill. Afterwards,  head over to the Tomcat Bourbon and BrewHouse patio to hear the sounds of country / classic rock band Sheldon Road.

SATURDAY, JULY 30

Enjoy an afternoon with the kids at Central Park while supporting CASA of Northeast KY. The Summer Sun, Books, and Fun book drive will take place from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Bring your gently used tween, teen, and young adult books to donate to their “Little Free Library.” The event will also feature a “Touch a Truck” event with emergency first responders, food trucks, and prize giveaways. 

Keep the fun rolling into the evening with a pool-side showing of Pirates of the Caribbean at Dawson Pool. This event is FREE for all ages. Movie will begin at dusk.

Saturday Date Night

Need a date night idea for Saturday evening? Make dinner plans at Bombshells and Ales (2022 Burger Week Champions!) Try one of their award-winning burgers, or make it a dessert date and try one of their EXTRAavagent boozy or non-alcoholic milkshakes. Great food all while enjoying a live acoustic set from SMG Nashville Recording Artist, Austin Adkins, in the bomb shelter.

SUNDAY, JULY 31

Finally, wrap up the weekend at the Paramount Arts Center and experience a live show from Grammy award-winning artist, Melissa Ethridge! Tickets to the show are available for purchase online or can be purchased at the box office.
